A very striking glass vase of bulbous form, comprising layers of cloudy pink, opal white streaks, and a maelstrom of small bubbles, heavily cased in clear glass – a style of décor popular, in one form or another, amongst the glasshouses of Britain, including Whitefriars and Nazeing, until the advent of WWII. This was made by Stevens & Williams – Royal Brierley, England, c.1930s.
Unmarked, but a known S&W design.
