A set of three very tall two-light bras de lumière sconces executed in hand-carved and faux-distressed gilded wood decorated with bows and tassels, modelled loosely after Louis XVI period designs by Pierre Gouthière, France, and paired with typical Florentine metal arms, bearing gilt leaves and petals. They were made in Italy in the 1950s-60s.
Each lamp can be hung loosely on the wall via a small loop to the verso, or screwed to the wall for a hard-wired fix. The sconces have new Italian-made bulbholders and new card candle tubes. Each lamp accepts x2 E14 small Edison screw bulbs. They will require wiring before use.
