A vintage set of four ‘Gisselfeld’ schnapps glasses, designed in 1933 by Jacob E. Bang for Holmegaards Glas, Denmark. Each glass features a delicate mouthblown bowl atop a chunky lobed crown-shaped knop, with a gold gilt rim to the foot and bowl.
Set 4 1930s Holmegaard ‘Gisselfeld’ Schnapps Glasses with Crown Knop
Condition
Glass is perfect, and gilding is near-perfect – the tiniest, lightest rubbing to the extreme edges, only noticeable with close examination, and commensurate with the age of the glass.
