An original vintage Austrian theatre poster for a double bill of experimental / avant-garde plays from French playwrights Eugène Ionesco and Jean Tardieu, ‘The Bald Soprano’ (‘La Cantatrice chauve’) and ‘The Counter’ (‘Le Guichet’), respectively. The performance was staged at the Stadttheater Gmunden, c.1967-68.
The block printed poster comprises black on a bright pink ground, with bold graphics and fun typography.
