A vintage medium-sized 'Torino' glass table lamp, designed by Michael Bang in 1990 and made at the Holmegaard Glasværks, Denmark, for Royal Copenhagen.
The lamp base has an elegant and organic form, recalling antique Chinese pottery, and is of cased glass, with a transparent outer layer and an internal opal-white core lending the lamp its opacity.
Bears its original Bakelite E27 lampholder suitable for most modern British and traditional European shades, and an inline switch.
