The acts included European and American jazz legends and, then, contemporary artists, including Dave Pike Set, Wolfgang Dauner Trio + Rolf Kühn, 'Sugarcane' Harris Group, Kenny Clarke, Francy Boland, Benny Bailey, Derek Watkins, Art Farmer, Manfred Schoof, Åke Persson, Nat Peck, Albert Mangelsdorff, Erik Van Lier, Jean Warland, Kenny Clare, Herb Geller, Stan Salzmann, Ronnie Scott, Tony Coe, Sahbi Shihab and Stan Getz. It was organisaed by MPS records and BASF in Frankfurt's Jahrhunderthalle.
