A large vintage ceiling onion - or gourd-shaped shaped pendant lamp, made of opal white glass. It likely dates from the mid-late 1960s, and made in the UK.
The lamp has been rewired with a generous length of Italian-made vintage-style cable with a bright white braid, and is finished with a brass cap, brass cord-grip and a brand new Italian-made Bakelite/ABS E27 bulb holder.
