A fun vintage table lamp, entirely hand-carved from solid teak wood, in the shape of a large central lotus flower with three additional flowers and a carved base. The lotus flower forms a multi-section petal shade that can be opened or closed (or anywhere in-between) by twisting the base of the flower. It dates to the 1960s, and was probably made in Thailand or Indonesia.

The lamp has been cleaned and brought up to modern safety specifications with an earthed B15 socket in solid patinated brass and a premium Italian 3-core twisted cable with vintage-style white Rayon braid with an inline on/off switch.
