An original vintage mid-century desk lamp with a flexible gooseneck stem and an attractive pierced shade, lacquered in a vibrant cherry red, with a lightly textured paint to the shade. It was made in The Netherlands in the late 1950s / early 1960s, and was likely modelled after similar lamps by Hala Zeist and various Italian lighting firms of the period.
The lamp has been cleaned and rewired with a generous length of premium Italian 3-core double insulated cable with a vivid black and white houndstooth braided sheath. It also has a new brass push-button switch and cord grip to the rear.
The lamp accepts a single B22 bayonet cap bulb.

Condition
The shade has some minor knocks and dents, but the paint is in perfect condition. The gooseneck is in good order and maintains its position perfectly. The lamp is in good working order, and is ready to place.
