An original near-antique art deco desk lamp with pen-holder, made in the 1930s by American lighting firm, Rex Electric Manufacturing Corporation of New York.
The lamp features a heavy cast iron base with a stepped foot that doubles as a pen-holder, an adjustable shade mounted on a ball socket, and a classic pull-chain lamp holder.
The lamp has been thoroughly cleaned and rewired with premium Italian double insulated 3-core cable sheathed in a vintage-style grey linen braid for a period look. An earthed tag has been concealed in the base. The lamp accepts a single E26 / E27 Edison screw bulb.
