A handmade pierced swept giltwood 17th century French inspired picture or mirror frame with c-scrolling, centre ornament & hatching, with an aged/distressed finish. It has a frame opening of 475mm x 385mm. Made in the last half of the 20th Century in Germany using traditional methods of gesso and bole over a carved timber substrate.
